That's just one little thing that's always bugged me; the password thing. It used to be acceptable but in this age where packet sniffing is so easy, it really isn't anymore. :\

I know this site has issues.. but the problem is that it's Joomla! and these things are built it, I don't know why they make it half-assed
First off, registration should at least tell me if it failed or succeeded, and preferrably actually let me know it requires email validation before I can log in. Before I checked my email it really, really looked like the system was just broken.
Second off, don't send passwords in plaintext in emails. That's just asking people to break into accounts. : Quote
