We had an issue while porting over to joomla v1.5. Please re-register. We have also included an automated backup with this new version. Apologies for the inconvenience, and as always thank you for your support!

0 #5 cppchriscpp 2009-06-08 18:14 Oh, didn't realize. >_> Nothing actually says that on the site - I guess I did see something about that somewhere though.

That's just one little thing that's always bugged me; the password thing. It used to be acceptable but in this age where packet sniffing is so easy, it really isn't anymore. :\

But yeah, I'm here, ready to lend my nonexistant skills in unreal script! Maybe at some point I'll actually start messing with UT3's editor and make some stuff.. did a little with 2k4 but kinda gave that up. I've got too much other stuff I'm devoting time to; no time to mess with completely new things. :x

tl;dr MUT-RBTT is awesome, Joomla not so much, and I'm useless.

0 #4 FakeTruth 2009-06-08 16:00 Hi cppchriscpp! Glad you like the server

I know this site has issues.. but the problem is that it's Joomla! and these things are built it, I don't know why they make it half-assed

0 #3 cppchriscpp 2009-06-08 15:12 Oh and on a note about what the site is actually about… RB UT3 is the first time I actually enjoyed playing a round of UT3. I really didn't like the game when it first came out. Gave it a chance a week or so ago and went wow… this isn't quite as annoyingly realistic. Quote

0 #2 cppchriscpp 2009-06-08 15:00 Pretty site… pretty functional, but I have a couple gripes.

First off, registration should at least tell me if it failed or succeeded, and preferrably actually let me know it requires email validation before I can log in. Before I checked my email it really, really looked like the system was just broken.

Second off, don't send passwords in plaintext in emails. That's just asking people to break into accounts. :
